(This is the confirmation for the paper called Safe from the Flu. It would make more sense if you read that first!)
The Day:
All the information for Safe from the Flu was put together on Monday, June 13, 2005. On Tuesday, I noticed that the calendar said that Monday was Shavuot. I learned that Shavuot commemorates the giving of God's laws.
This confirmation is important since to be safe from the flu you need to follow God's dietary laws and the exact day the article came together turns out to be the exact day God gave these Laws to His people.
The Dream:
Later in the week on Thursday, June 16, 2005, I woke up at 5 am and then fell back asleep. I dreamt of horses in my backyard. There was a really big white horse that was beautiful, it was looking in the window and it was very anxious, seemed happy and very strong. There was another horse that was smaller and acted like a regular horse but I didn't pay much attention because there was a green horse. It was almost like I knew the other horses but I didn't know this one and it was small not even close to the size of the white horse. It didn't seem to fit in yet but it was there. I was given the word "revery".
Interpretation:
The horses took me to Revelations 6.
The white horse is the first horse from Revelations 6. I believe this horse is deception and I do believe deception is widespread these days.
What is facinating is the green horse. Even in my dream I couldn't take my eyes off it. This is what I've learned. The fourth horse from Revelations is called "pale" in English, but in the original Greek it is "chloros," or GREEN! The fourth horse is "given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth" (Revelation 6:7,8)
This confirmation is important since Safe from the Flu is about a coming influenza pandemic and one of the things the green horse brings is plagues.
I then went to my library because I remembered an end time book I have by Billy Graham called "Approaching Hoofbeats: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse". I, of course, went to the chapter about the fourth horse and this is what it says:
"But the order is even more specific. The weapons of death are clearly described: sword, famine, plague and wild beasts are named. These New Testament instruments of "holocaust" are taken directly from the Old Testament texts. The vision of John has roots in a vision of Moses almost thirteen hundred years before John's island vision. Again it is [William] Barclay who reminds us that in Leviticus (26:21-26) Moses described the judgement God will send upon His people because of their disobedience." page 203, Approaching Hoofbeats: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
This confirmation is important because to be safe from the flu you need to follow God's dietary laws. The "weapons of death" that the fourth horse brings are the same to God's people for not following His laws in Leviticus (26:21-26).
Finally, the word revery. I didn't even know revery was a word! I looked it up online and it gave the definition "daydreaming". I wasn't really awake so I didn't think daydreaming applied. My husband has an old dictionary at his office so I thought I'd look up the word when I visited him. They had the word with reverie and the second definition was "vision"! Isn't that neat! I'm not sure if it was a vision but I think it's pretty cool that this was the word's definition!
