Going Through the Door of your Future— Stand, Review, Renew, Decree, and Establish

I sense we are in crucial times for our nation. Critical times require critical thinking. I was recently with Dutch Sheets and his team in Albany, NY. for a meeting to pray for our government. Albany was chosen because of the sense that New York will have a deciding voice in the future of our nation over the next two years. While we were there, we believe the Spirit of God gave us revelation over where we are in our lives and as a nation.

Look carefully at the emotional shaking in the life of Elijah as a model for you today!

You will gain a good perspective at this time if you will look and meditate on the Scriptures at the end of I Kings 18 and the beginning of I Kings 19. Elijah had gained a great victory after 3 1/2 years of battling the demonic structure holding Israel from its future. In this passage, we see that he intercedes and brings the word of the Lord from the Heavenlies into earth's atmosphere. He has run faster than the present ruling force and gained his authority at the gates of the city. He has overthrown the supporting structure of the ruling force of influence in the nation.

Now, he faces the strongman, who happens to be Jezebel. Instead of standing and waiting for the Lord to back him at the gates of the city (representing who will rule in future), he loses his footing! He gets knocked out of his abiding place. He sees the battle ahead and the spiritual forces that are backing Jezebel, and chooses to run!

The 40-Day Prayer Focus will help you stand and move into your next place of victory. Do not lose ground now, and do not let the waves and winds of your circumstances knock you out of your abiding place!

Enter the 8th Month with an Expectation of the New Beginning!

In the Hebraic calendar, this is the month of Cheshvan. This is a time to receive a new anointing. The anointing will break the yoke! This is a month to forget your past times of abandonment. Do not think that you have been forsaken. This is a time to deal with hardships, trials, and tribulations by receiving the anointing. Let the pain from your past subside and be used to bring a metamorphosis, or transformation, so you are reflecting fully God's plan for your life. Let your soul be purged of past trauma.

During this time, review the life of Moses, so that you understand how anger stops the process of entering into your promise. Without a new anointing this month, satan gets an upper hand; this is the month to get your heel on the enemy's plan. Begin to use your word and prophecies to war against the enemy's plan to stop or block your way. Do not hesitate to yell at the enemy and proclaim that the Lord will satisfy you with benefits (Psalm 103).

This is the month of smell. The soul responds in unusual ways--smell the awe of God! May the fragrance of the Holy Spirit begin to emanate into the atmosphere around you. May the eternal flame of revelation move you into a new supernatural dimension. Let the Lord show you new revelation that will permeate into the end of things to produce a new sound for a new beginning.

The Lord made us to be called the Body! Therefore, every month of the year is linked with a part of the body. This is the month of the intestines--the month of fine digestion. The Lord is asking us to develop a new dimension of discernment that will produce an ability to dissect and assimilate things. May you enter into a new level of blessings this month!

Pivot and go through your next door of opportunity. Develop new strength to run the race ahead. Seek Him like you have never sought Him before. "Call unto Him and He will answer you and show you mighty things you know not--things that have been hidden and set against your future, and things that have been hidden that could give you insight on how to advance in your life" (Jeremiah 33:3, paraphrase). Decree your supply lines for the future will be uncovered. Receive new joy and allow your strength to be renewed for the year ahead!

Use the following 40-Day Prayer Focus to help you stand and stay focused for your life, family, ministries, and business.

Blessings,
